I love dead island, and I want to play with friends, but can't because they don't have the game. I'm not asking for a group, but I'm just venting, because it's on sale for 6$ on the Xbox One Store for the next few days. Summary: I like the game but nobody I know owns the game. Host’s level. But did run into some skull zombies near Anna’s place when coop with a low level friend. Skulls are scripted to prevent you from progressing far. they can be killed but are always a pain. later they get debuffed to normal as you progress, atleast thats what i heard. The work around is starting a party chat , once both are in the PlayStation party chat one can start a game , make sure it says friends only and then the other person can click on that person's name and it should give an option to join game. The_Kibaz • 2 hr. ago.
I think they tried to put this on too many platforms, it doesnt seem polished enough. A friend of mine talked me into getting it, so we both got the gold edition. We played through the tutorial, and it said we could play coop, but because we both have base PS4s it wont work, you need either a ps4 pro or a ps5 to host it lol.

Gameplay is super fun, every weapon category has different moves and finisher, graphics are amazing specially when you on a balcony looking at the horizon, story is not the best one so far hopefully it gets more interesting as i progress through the game, is not open world like the previous game but you can visit multiple areas like hollywood, bel air etc, gore is amazing!
