It is EF-S, so if you go full frame it won't carry over. I think it's a neat lens for the money, but (and this is just me) my use for a 24mm would be astrophotography and more, and for that the Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 is apparently The Best Thing. Can be had brand-new for about $400.
