I am a huge fan of the Modern Warfare series, almost playing them every year. However, recently I found my MW3 glitching, the graphics just not that smooth, no matter what I did. I tried running the game as admin, tried lowering graphics settings(but the settings never work, cuz when I lock the game under 60 fps, the monitor shows that the FPS is still unlocked). This just freaks me out.

Hi, When i click on "play" on steam for MW3 the game does not launch. I just get the small window "preparing to launch MW3" and nothing happens I reinstalled the game multiple times, it doesn't changes anything

Start by launching Call of Duty HQ, going to the Modern Warfare 2 section, and clicking Multiplayer. Before it loads, Alt-tab out, open Task Manager, and end the Call of Duty HQ process .
